Once upon a time—as an incoming high school freshman (embarking on a youth group summer trip to Belgium)—I was handed a mini-dv camcorder and asked to document the trip.

Well, that gave me the bug for all things creative and ever since then I’ve been playing with cameras and moving shapes and colors around.

For 10+ years now I’ve been helping people (who work for brands and organizations) with their shapes and colors (art direction and design, among other things). I genuinely find satisfaction in collaborating with others where we each bring our own unique experiences and skills together to accomplish something better than an individual could alone.

I’m a big fan of my wife Katie and what she’s doing with Drip Drop Art Studio in downtown Vancouver, WA. Our two boys are just the coolest and craziest dudes who ensure there are no dull moments, ever.

I’ll almost never turn down a cup of coffee or a chance to play basketball.
